Dr. Sketchy’s Amsterdam 20th December 2013 (session 12)

Friday evening was once more great fun at Dr. Sketchy Amsterdam’s live drawing session and burlesque performance.

The bounty of an evening livedrawing:

I also won a book! Babytattoo is one of the sponsors of dr. Sketchy events world wide, they send books ‘n cool things for the contest.

The contest differs every event. Sometimes you have to draw a pose and improvise on it further on a theme, sometimes you need to change it around. This time we were asked to design a poster for one of the performers.

And this one was voted the winner:

What is a ‘dr. sketchy anti-Art School event?’

The intention is to (speed)draw live models, to enjoy the show the Burlesque artists put on and have a drink & chat while you draw.

It’s a live drawing evening with models and Illustrators of all levels are welcome! So come over and indulge in your passion 🙂

Here, you can draw however you like, with whatever materials you prefer.
People bring all kinds of drawing implements from pencil, paint to pixels and even paper-cut artwork!

There is no ‘strictly enforced method’ to fence in your creativity.
